Then I saw that minerbumping.com is providing them carebear tears and I only provide numbers. Sure, a chart where MoA kills more than PL+NC.+Nulli is fine for me, but for the average dude it's just "meh chart".
The idea is if some Goonies provide tears to MoA, the members should screenshot it and send it to me and I publish them. Then people will be more likely to donate because they will see that it's working. It's hard to understand that "1.6T destroyed in a year" is "meaningless", "dude cries over losing an Isthar" is proof, but most people are dumb. They want tears. Let's give them!

This was after a few skirmishes in EC-P8R. We had gone home, and SMA came with a Hawk/Firetail fleet. We quickly formed Cerbs, and chased them off. Considering the number we had in fleet, it was fair - in the past we've done this and they managed to kill a Cerb or a Scimitar, and won the ISK war.

Logic Smash.
So we have a Cormorant Fleet heading towards EC-8PR and our scouts find a Firetail fleet with Caracal support already there. We stack up in the EWOK gate and it's a Texican Standoff. I jump in with my Raptor, and they're all zero on the gate:

They jump in and headshot the FC, so we warp off, Gumby takes one of the other Cormorants.

Except we didn't. We warped back at range, started sniping them with Cormorants, the Cerbs came in and started killing stuff too. Eventually they are the ones to run with their Caracals between their legs. We catch a bunch, one of them sits zero on gate and kills Gumby (again) and we kill him for the trouble.

I'm being told to go rat and mine in order to keep my space. Do you know how terrible that is? I just really reject that "lived in" isn't binary - we're having to "live in" space "more" for a traditional PvP capture mechanic.
Oh, and for defending my space I get my space and that's it. The attacker has to give up nothing. If they were having to bet money after reinforce to trigger the next stage or something maybe, but right now, defenders who should be at a major advantage of holding space they fought and grinded for are having to kick interceptors off sov structures for the entirety of the primetime just to not have to deal with days more harassment.
Plus, we have a few timers that have been open for 5d. If that doesn't indicate nobody wants to take space, I don't know what does. Dominion Sov was structured and relatively quick, Aegis Sov after the first week seems like it's just going to be littered with half-completed timers because nobody wants space.
Edit: And a criticism of the Duality test - not having to constantly grind indices hid the major problem of the system. The test was flawed, which is one of many reasons why PL won a PvE-based Sov competition.

Fucking hate it, but I've come to accept it as part of the steady, irreversible decline in the quality of Eve.
The risk to attack sov is way too small. Sov trolling is a thing, but right now we are able to handle them, even if most of us really don't want to. When Fleetwarp to Results is removed we won't be able to anymore but I don't expect this to not be removed. Bad proposed changes are inevitable these days.
We did a fleet last night to take back a system of ours in Pure Blind. What would have been a 20min op using supercaps last night was an hour-and-a-half ordeal of sitting there mostly AFK while a paltry hostile force smugged about some dumbfuck cynabal kill they got 3 jumps over. They tried to kill my drake and failed miserably.
DBRB and I did a sov thing in 3V8 last night. I brought a real fleet of 50 vs two shitty fleets of 30 5mil ISK destroyers, was outnumbered, still had very little fun because we kinda just sat there chasing down one hostile fleet while the other one blueballed anyway. I soloed part of a Cormorant fleet with a single Abaddon. It felt like a massive waste of time for most of my fleet and I'd rather have not done it, but only did because dealing with one stupid node is way easier than ten.
My skirmish command group is becoming less and less active because chasing no-fight Svipul gangs or uncatchable Interceptors is not fun, and that's all we ever run into.
Interceptors should lose their warp immunity, they're fucking retarded and have been ever since they got warp immunity. I don't have any hope this will happen though.
Jump fatigue/SpaceAIDS on subcaps/jump bridges is shitty beyond shit. I can't relate in words how disappointing it is to have a great network that I can barely use to defend my space. I've been forced to keep fleets out longer than I'd like to just to avoid getting double-doses of spaceaids.
I fully expect that replacing the current stations with destructible citadels will result in us mass-moving all of our shit to NPC stations. There is no way we would ever leave trillions of ISK in a place where total loss is even remotely possible. NPC nullsec still has too many advantages. But, hey, one single hackerceptor can threaten a hundred titans' worth of stuff.
tldr: I've lost all confidence in CCP because stupid changes keep going through despite plainly obvious reasons to not go through, and massive player resistance too. The sandbox is not really a sandbox anymore and CCP's design goals do not have a single "sandbox" aspect to it, but instead, are a giant experiment in social engineering. Nail meet head. Our ships are uglier, neocom icons more confusing, sov feels like a massive waste, supercaps are used more for decloaking solo-cloakers than actual shooting. There was no hype, and for good reason.
But hey, ~small gang warfare~ is a thing now, even though it's still more boring than ever before.
